The hotel is located on the edge of Alexanderplatz, an important transportation hub and home to many of the cities attractions. For a leisurely stroll amongst Berlin's famous courtyards, head to Hackesche Höfe and then continue your evening at Hackescher Markt, where you'll find an array of boutiques, restaurants and some of Berlin's lively nightclubs and bars.
The Radisson Blu Hotel, Berlin boasts a prime city-center location that makes it the perfect base for sightseeing. Many of the city's top cultural attractions, like Museum Island, are within walking distance. You're also spoiled for choice when it comes to dining and nightlife here in the lively Mitte nieghborhood: Hackesche Höfe, a series of 8 interconnecting courtyards lined with cafés, restaurants and bars, and the historic Nikolai Quarter are both nearby. Our Mitte hotel is also ideal if you're traveling for business, thanks to its proximity to the Berliner Congress Centre (BCC) and major transportation hubs like Alexanderplatz, which make it easy to get around the city.
We have a free electric car charging station for all hotel guests and a public garage with 616 parking spaces. The Radisson Blu Berlin is located in the Green Zone, so if you're arriving by car, you will need to obtain an environmental badge in order to park here.
From Berlin Brandenburg Airport
From Terminal 1-2, both the RE 7 and RB 14 regional trains go to Alexanderplatz station; they run twice an hour and take just under 30 minutes. From Alexanderplatz, head down Karl-Liebknecht-Strasse toward the cathedral/Berlin Palace for a 10-minute walk. The hotel is on the right, just before the bridge. Alternatively, take the M4, M5, or M6 tram just one stop from S+U Alexanderplatz Bhf/Gontardstrasse to Spandauer Strasse/Marienkirche; the hotel is just around the corner on Karl-Liebknecht-Strasse.
The S9 suburban train connects all terminals (1-2 and 5) to S Hackescher Markt station; it runs every 20 minutes. From there, walk about 500 meters to the hotel.
By car:A journey takes around 40 minutes depending on the traffic. The fastest route is usually via A113.
From Central Station
Take any train from platform 15 (S3 direction Erkner, S5 direction Strausberg Nord, S7 direction Ahrensfelde or S9 direction airport BER), travel eastbound for 2 stops, and get off at S Hackescher Markt station. From there, walk about 500 meters to reach the hotel.
The U5 subway connects the Central Station with Rotes Rathaus station. The hotel lies just across the Marx-Engels-Forum park.
By car:The fastest route is usually via Reinhardtstrasse. The journey takes around 15 minutes, depending on traffic.
